The 43 Iveco Crossway LE Natural Power, 12 meter long, will be operated on the west side of the country for interurban lines in the concession Voorne Putten. EBS has been operating lines in the northwest of the Netherlands and mainly north of Amsterdam since 2011. The only intercity bus cng fuelled

The Iveco Crossway LE Natural Power prides itself to be the only low entry intercity bus fuelled with cng. Unveiled last year during Busworld 2017 and in the same occasion awarded with the Sustainable Bus Award 2018. The vehiclesordered by EBS are fitted with the latest generation Iveco Cursor 9 NP and are equipped with 43 seats and air-conditioning. They will complete the fleet of 200 buses of the public transport company. With a total capacity of 1,260 litres (4 315-litre tanks), the vehicle has a range of between 500 and 600 km depending on the type of use. The Iveco Crossway LE Natural Power are environmentally friendly and offer a particularly smart design, namely by integrating compressed natural gas tanks into the roof. This exclusive feature – which is patented by the brand – combined with the reinforced structure optimises the centre of gravity for greater stability on the road and more comfort for both the driver and passengers.
