Ventura to present Door Adjustment guided by Sensors
One of the highlights is a presentation of their latest research project: Door Adjustment guided by Sensors (DAS). This project aims to develop a tool that can objectively assess the quality of door system installations using sensors and an algorithm based on machine learning.
The tool has proven effective in objectively assessing and enhancing the installation quality of door systems. It helps engineers make precise adjustments, ensuring reliable door operation from the start of the lifecycle.
Their product specialist will guide you through the journey from an experience-based to an evidence-based approach, sharing the scientific research behind the work, the development of their own sensor kit, and the algorithms that power it.

Next-generation Ventura Door Control Unit at Busworld 2025
Also on display is the next-generation Door Control Unit (DCU2.0). This second-generation platform enhances functionality, safety, and cybersecurity, providing a future-ready foundation for continued innovation. A product specialist will explain the key differences from the current unit and demonstrate how vehicle manufacturers and operators can benefit from the new capabilities.
Developed in compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety) and related standards, the DCU2.0 incorporates advanced safety and cybersecurity measures. At the Technology Lab, visitors can learn more about these features and gain clarity on where responsibilities lie for OEMs and operators.

After first introducing the multifunctional button at the previous edition of Busworld, Ventura is proud to present its latest proof of concept. The button, with an integrated screen to replace the traditional pictogram, has an optimised design, upgraded software, and enhanced hardware. The multifunctional button creates new opportunities for passenger communication and commercial applications. Ventura looks forward to feedback from vehicle manufacturers and operators on the potential of this innovation.

Inward Gliding and Plug Sliding doors on display
Building on the insights gained from last year’s global innovation tour, Ventura has further refined and advanced its technologies. Two key innovations have been updated for this showcase: the Inward Gliding door system with lift function, enhancing sealing and passenger comfort, and the slim door leaf concept, designed to optimise the balance between aesthetics, weight, and mechanical efficiency.
To highlight its commitment to safety, Ventura will also present the Plug Sliding door system, configured with the latest features on sensor systems. New additions, such as an audible warning system and a capacitive sensitive edge, will be available for visitors to experience first-hand.
