The delivery represents the latest step in the fleet decarbonisation programme of STCP. Alongside the entry into service of the new vehicles, Caetano confirms that STCP has already placed an additional order for 30 electric buses, scheduled for delivery in the coming months.

Once completed, the programme will bring the total number of Caetano electric buses in the STCP fleet to 65 units by 2026.
The buses now delivered to STCP correspond to the latest evolution of the Caetano e.CityGold, a 12-metre model with capacity for up to 88 passengers. The vehicles are equipped with 422 kWh batteries. According to the manufacturer, the buses integrate “highly reliable, state-of-the-art components and technologies from CRRC”, while Caetano retains full responsibility for vehicle design, specification and system integration.
