Five Polish cities, including Warsaw and Krakow, have ordered Irizar e-mobility electric buses lately, for a total of 80 units. The Spanish brand announces in fact that it has signed several contracts with Polish public transport operators to supply electric buses, with the Irizar ie bus selected in every case.

Recently, the company concluded a deal with MZA Warsaw (Miejskie Zakłady Autobusowe sp. z o.o.) for ten 10-metre buses. These vehicles, scheduled for delivery in late 2026, will operate in Warsaw and feature solar panels exceeding 1 kW. The contract also allows for an expansion of up to 10 additional units.

Irizar electric buses, not just Warsaw..

MPK in Krakow (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne S.A.) has signed its second supply contract with Irizar e-mobility for 22 new 12-metre buses. The units are expected to enter service in mid-2026 in the city centre, bringing MPK Cracovia’s Irizar-made total electric fleet to 26 buses, alongside the four Irizar ie units already operating since 2023

The municipal operator of Bielsko-Biała (Miejski Zakład Komunikacyjny w Bielsku-Białej) will receive 12 new 12-metre Irizar e-mobility buses, with deliveries starting in the first half of 2026.

Meanwhile, GZM Katowice is modernising its fleet with 31 electric buses, including 16 articulated 18-metre models and 15 12-metre units. The buses will serve several cities, including Sosnowiec, Świerklaniec, Katowice, and Gliwice.

Finally, MPK Nowy Sącz (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne Sp. z o.o.) will add five 10-metre electric buses to its network, scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
