With less than two weeks to go before the start of Bus2Bus 2026 in Berlin on April 15, MCV, the Egyptian bus bodybuilder, has announced that it will bring two vehicles, both, of course, zero-emission. Alongside the updated full-electric C127 EV model, MCV will also present the C127 FC LE in the German capital, the hydrogen fuel cell city bus first unveiled at Busworld 2025 in Brussels.

The C127 Fuel Cell Low Entry combines the advantages of the low-entry concept with a hydrogen-electric drivetrain. Thanks to a 117 kWh battery, a 100 kW fuel cell, and approximately 40 kg of hydrogen, the C127 Fuel Cell Low Entry achieves strong performance in terms of range.

The seating layout is optimized for intercity travel and offers up to 43 comfortable seats and 36 standing places. When the wheelchair space is in use, the number of standing places is reduced to 32.

The fully electric C127 EV, completely redesigned, will be presented for the first time in Berlin. Among the new features are the driver’s workspace and a powertrain derived from the hydrogen-powered C127 FC LE. The system uses modular LFP batteries from CATL, with a total capacity of 497 kWh divided into 12 packs. Charging is via a CCS 2 connector with a maximum power of 150 kW. In addition, the 24-volt onboard system has been fully updated; among the innovations, alongside an electronic parking brake, a 24-volt power steering system has also been introduced.
