Chinese electric bus manufacturer Higer Bus has inaugurated its first European spare parts center and service station in Luxembourg. The new facility, officially unveiled on July 7, aims to strengthen after-sales support and logistics capabilities for customers across the continent.

The same Chinese group presented the FENCER F1 Integral EV at UITP Summit, aiming at a larger position in the European market.

Higer service hub in Luxembourg

The inauguration event brought together key public and private stakeholders from both China and Luxembourg. Among the attendees were Hua Ning, Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg; Lex Delles, Luxembourg’s Minister of Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism; Luc Thelen, President of the Chamber of Commerce; and Alain Sitz, Director of Automotive and Intelligent Transportation at the Ministry of Economy.

Located in the heart of the continent, Luxembourg has been selected for its geographic and logistical advantages. The facility will serve as a central node for Higer’s European operations, offering a full portfolio of spare parts and maintenance services. The company aims to reduce delivery times and increase service responsiveness for European clients.

The establishment of the parts center follows a significant delivery in late 2024, when Luxembourg received a fleet of seven Higer Azure electric buses deployed on intercity lines.
