Anadolu Isuzu is participating in Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels from October 4 to 9: the highlight is the newly developed Grand Toro XL, exhibited alongside the Citiport 12 Class 2, the fully electric vehicles Novociti Volt Generation 2, Citivolt 12, and NovoVolt.

The Grand Toro XL is a high-capacity version of the well-known Grand Toro, with 41 seats, expanded luggage space, and low-emission engines, suitable for shuttle services, tourism, and airport transport. The Citiport 12 Class 2 targets intercity, suburban, and urban public transport, offering a spacious interior and accessible design for passengers with disabilities.

In the electric segment, Novociti Volt Generation 2 is optimized for narrow city streets and medium-density routes, with improvements in comfort, energy efficiency, and charging capabilities. The Citivolt 12 is a 12-meter zero-emission city bus with a low-floor, barrier-free design, suitable for dense urban routes. NovoVolt, a mid-sized fully electric bus, provides an option for municipalities, private operators, airport transfers, and on-campus transport.

Isuzu acquires SamAuto in Uzbekistan

As of late September, Anadolu Isuzu announced the acquisition of 75.2% of Uzbekistan-based SamAuto. The acquisition aims to combine SamAuto’s production capabilities and established Central Asian sales network with Anadolu Isuzu’s industry experience, R&D expertise, and product range, creating an integrated production hub to strengthen the company’s presence and competitiveness in Uzbekistan and neighboring markets. Some of SamAuto’s models are expected to be added to Anadolu Isuzu’s portfolio, while certain Anadolu Isuzu models will be produced at SamAuto’s facility.

At the press conference during Busworld Europe 2025, Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan stated that the company views its international operations as a strategic growth area and one of the fundamental pillars for creating sustainable value. Arıkan said, “For 42 years, Anadolu Isuzu has been on a continuous growth journey. By expanding our product range, we are strengthening our presence in international markets. We place great importance on strategic collaborations at the global level. With our R&D and manufacturing expertise, we currently export to more than 45 countries.”

“We are working with a vision to further expand our international operations,” he added. “We are working to expand our global footprint even further. We establish long-term, value-added relationships at an international scale. The strong partnerships we build with our global stakeholders not only enhance the quality of our products and services but also expand our market access, strengthen our technological capabilities, and increase our operational efficiency. This synergy significantly contributes to our ability to adapt quickly to different markets, offer more competitive solutions, and achieve sustainable growth in our business results. In this context, our latest step is the accepted offer to acquire the majority shares of SamAuto, operating in Uzbekistan. The acquisition process is progressing rapidly, and we are preparing to launch our second production facility in the coming months. We will continue to respond to today’s and tomorrow’s needs by developing sustainable technologies, investing in environmentally friendly production, digitalization, robust after-sales support systems, and new partnerships.”
