As part of its activities in the European Union, JBM has established its European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. The site will handle sales, marketing, aftersales, operations, and partnerships across the region. The European business is led by Daniel Frade, Director Sales, Marketing & After Sales – Europe.

JBM EV reports that it has deployed or is executing contracts for over 11,000 electric buses worldwide. The company operates a dedicated electric bus production facility in India, with a manufacturing capacity of 20,000 units per year, described as the largest outside China.

The vehicles on display at UITP 2025 are homologated to European standards and include four model variants, with configurable features and layouts.

The JBM Ecolife bus incorporates a comprehensive suite of safety and driver‑assistance technologies. Its Advanced Driver‑Assistance System (ADAS) works in tandem with an Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) to detect potential collisions and automatically apply brakes when necessary. Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning further support accident prevention, while Blind Spot Detection and Pedestrian and Cyclist Collision Warning (MOIS) enhance situational awareness around the vehicle. The bus also features Intelligent Speed Assistance to help maintain safe velocities, driver drowsiness and distraction monitoring to reduce human error, and provisions for alcohol interlock installation. To protect both occupants and the vehicle itself, it includes a Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS), a 360‑degree camera network for all-around visibility, and cybersecurity measures designed to guard against digital threats.

“Our mission is to decarbonize public transport by creating new and sustainable global benchmarks. At JBM EV, we believe that the future of green mobility lies in creating vehicles that seamlessly blend innovation, sustainability and user-centric design. Our electric mobility solutions are not just about reducing carbon footprints—they are about elevating the quality of life for individuals and communities by making transportation smarter, safer, and more accessible,” said Mr. Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman, JBM Group.

“This year we have successfully completed a decade in the public mobility space. We envision to serve over 20 billion passengers and clock 3 billion e‑kilometres in next 3–4 years, delivering safe, reliable and unforgettable experiences to the world,” he added.
