Trapeze announces it has rebranded its European businesses, launching four dedicated public transport technology brands as of 16 February 2026.

The move restructures Trapeze’s activities in Intermodal Transport Control Systems, fixed route planning and scheduling, bus driver allocation and public transport data management into distinct entities operating under the names ebblo, Grampian Solutions, Naviquate and Nexfeld.

The companies officially launched today and operate within Modaxo, the global collective of people transportation technology businesses owned by Constellation Software.

Before announcing the transition to the four new brands, Trapeze Group had communicated in mid-January 2026 that it would participate in the BUS2Bus exhibition, scheduled to take place in Berlin on 15 and 16 April 2026.

The company operates primarily in Germany, Denmark and Norway. Nexfeld focuses on timetable planning, vehicle scheduling and optimisation tools for public transport operators in Northern and Central Europe.

Grampian Solutions returns to its heritage name in UK

In the UK bus operations segment, Trapeze Group UK Commercial has rebranded as Grampian Solutions, effective 16 February 2026. The Aberdeen-based business traces its origins to Grampian Software (followingly taken over by Trapeze Group) and reports more than 40 years of activity in duty allocation and driver management technology.

According to the company, its systems support 85 percent of UK bus operators, including major transport groups. The core platform, DAS Anywhere, manages duty allocation and payroll rule configurations, with more than 40,000 payroll rule configurations active across UK depots.

Grampian Solutions states that it provides tools for work allocation, compliance management and payroll accuracy for bus operators. The company operates from its headquarters in Aberdeen and remains part of Modaxo.

“Reintroducing the Grampian name is both a nod to our heritage and a signal of our ambition,” said Antony Chilton-Murphy, General Manager of Grampian Solutions. “We have always been the trusted engine room behind the UK’s bus operations. Today, we step forward with a brand that reflects our strength, expertise, and commitment to the bus industry.”

All four brands operate independently under the Modaxo umbrella and replace the previous Trapeze naming structure for the corresponding European activities.
