PEI Mobility is exhibiting in Hall 6, Stand 639

PEI Mobility, automotive division of P.E.I. Srl and a major player in Italian-made bellows and articulations, has become a reference point in the sector, thanks to a constant commitment to innovation. Today the company provides a wide and customisable range of products suitable for every chassis. The production and sale of bus bellows – more than 14,000 units sold in the last twenty years – confirms its solid industrial presence.

PEI Mobility has contributed to the construction of the new range of Castrosua’s NELEC articulated e-buses in partnership with BYD by supplying customised bellows.

PEI Mobility at Busworld Europe 2025

After joining Busworld already in 2023, the company will exhibit also at the upcoming Busworld Europe 2025, where one of the novelties on display will be the new cast iron joint CI695, a latest addition to the company’s range of articulations. Designed to guarantee maximum reliability and construction quality, this new product represents a significant step forward in PEI Mobility’s ongoing development work.

Another highlight at the stand will be the Smart Control Unit (SCU), entirely designed by PEI Mobility. Customisable according to market requirements, secure and compliant with regulations such as ECE-R155, ECE-R156 and ISO 21434:2021 (Cybersecurity), the unit is supplied with the articulation systems and communicates with the vehicle. It allows real-time adjustment of the hydraulic system and manages vehicle behaviour in potentially critical situations. The SCU is inaccessible from outside: the proprietary software that governs it ensures a level of IT-security unique in this sector.

Alongside these novelties, visitors will discover further product innovations developed by the R&D department, including advanced studies on innovative materials and high-performance solutions that broaden the company’s offer.
