Forsee Power announces that it will equip Turkish manufacturer Bozankaya with its battery systems for their trolleybuses.

The battery suppliers adds that “Bozankaya has already received confirmation of an order for 33 trolleybuses, in 12m and 18m models, which will be delivered to the Municipality of Timisoara in Romania”. The OEM has recently been awarded a 70-units tender in Prague.

The Turkish manufacturer has just launched a new generation of electric buses available in no fewer than four lengths: 10, 12, 18 and 25 meters. These buses can operate with overnight charging or fast charging (in the trolleybus version), depending on the city’s needs and infrastructure.

Bozankaya sources batteries from Forsee Power

Overall, Forsee Power’s batteries now equip over 4,200 buses and more than 145,000 light vehicles worldwide, according to company’s figures. Forsee Power claims it’s holding the leading position as non-Chinese innovator in battery systems for the bus market.

Bozankaya has selected two of Forsee Power’s technologies to meet its needs: FORSEE ZEN PLUS to equip their 18-m and 12-m electric trolleybuses, and FORSEE PULSE 15 for their fast-charging electric trolleybuses.

Forsee Power has recently announced achievement of the 2024 target of EBITDA break-even, highlighted also during our visit at the company’s plant in Poitiers, France in July 2024 (the plan is for a projected 15% positive EBITDA by 2028).
