Masats announces the upcoming launch of its new RE2b bus ramp, ready for presentation at UITP Summit in Hamburg, 16-18 June, featuring “additional width, enhancing both safety and comfort”.

Earlier this year, the company unveiled the RD1 new hybrid ramp, capable of combining an electric ramp with a manual one.

This motorized ramp is seamlessly integrated into the vehicle floor. When needed, it can also be manually operated. Masats RE2b is compatible with the latest Masats Evolution electronics, featuring predictive maintenance capabilities, as well as the standard Masats ECU, the Spanish supplier underlines.

The first units are already in service in vehicles in Singapore, a market where Masats has a strong presence.

An additional feature of the new ramp is the optional Passenger Information System (PIS-L): integrated into the ramp platform, it uses red and green color-coded lighting to clearly indicate the status of both the door and ramp, making access more intuitive and secure.
