Indian electric bus maker EKA Mobility is showcasing its entire range of electric commercial vehicles at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, underway from 17th to 22th January in New Delhi.

EKA Mobility’s new electric vehicle range includes over 11 distinct platforms spanning electric buses, trucks, and small commercial vehicles.

At the same expo, JBM unveiled four e-buses.

The company (belonging to Pinnacle Mobility Solutions) unveiled its 9-meter e-bus model earlier this year at Prawaas 4.0 expo in Bangalore. EKA by Pinnacle Mobility Solutions is the latest initiative from the Pinnacle Industries group. Pinnacle Industries, a leading automotive seating, interiors, and speciality vehicles company, has collaborated with the Dutch conglomerate VDL Group to establish EKA by Pinnacle Mobility Solutions. VDL Group also own VDL Bus & Coach: the 12-meter LF model by EKA (see opening picture) is quite ‘resounding’ of the design of the previous Citea range by VDL.

EKA Mobility has also launched the fleet management platform EKA Connect, leveraging real-time data analytics to optimize vehicle performance, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure maximum uptime for businesses and transport operators.

EKA Mobility has introduced five electric bus models tailored for different passenger transportation needs. EKA offers a diverse range of electric buses, from the EKA COACH, the the OEM claims is “India’s first fully stainless-steel electric luxury bus for long-distance travel”, to the EKA 12M, a high-capacity urban transit bus. The EKA 9M caters to mid-sized commuting needs. For enhanced accessibility within city limits, the EKA LF (Low Floor) bus provides a powerful electric drivetrain and efficient design. Lastly, the EKA 7M is a compact electric bus ideally suited for feeder services, hilly terrains, and narrow city lanes.
