After Japan, so does the United Kingdom: Karsan is now also expanding to Britain, bringing its e-Jest electric minibus to the island. The Turkish manufacturer, at the Euro Bus Expo in Birmingham, presented the model with right side drive.

The vehicle, six meters long and powered by BMW’s 135 kW electric motor, is capable of carrying 17 people. With its 88 kWh battery, the vehicle has a range of up to 210 kilometers and can be recharged in one hour with fast charging and in 4 hours with overnight home charging.

Deniz Çetin, CCO of Karsan, said: “The e-Jest has distinguished itself in Europe since the day it was launched,” adding, the vehicle has been the leader in its segment in Europe for four consecutive years.Now we are also bringing our minibus to the Uk through our business partner EVM in the UK and Ireland. Our targets for the coming period include Malta and Australia”.
