More than two hundred electric buses signed Karsan will be running on the streets of Romania by the end of 2023. Yes, because the Turkish manufacturer has won two tenders to deliver a total of 20 e-Jest models: 18 for the city of Aiud and four for Siret.

The Karsan e-Jest, which will be the first electric minibuses for both cities, will be delivered in the last quarter of the year.

The Ceo of Karsan, Okan Baş thus commented on the upcoming deliveries in Romania: «With these new agreements, we have made a strong start to 2023. It is possible to see Karsan-branded electric buses in many cities in Romania. Romania is one of the countries leading the transformation of electric public transport in Europe. This vision of Romania and our electric transformation journey as Karsan, which started five years ago, coincide with each other».
