FIAA 2026 is shaping up to be the largest edition of Madrid’s show to date, with participation figures already exceeding those of previous events. The event, organised by Ifema Madrid, will take place from 22 to 24 September 2026 at the Madrid exhibition centre and has already secured the presence of many of the sector’s leading manufacturers and suppliers, Ifema states.
Among the companies that have confirmed their participation are Irizar, Daimler (Mercedes-Benz and Setra), Iveco, Higer – Mobility Bus, Yutong, Indcar, Karsan, Temsa, Solaris, Anadolu Isuzu, Marcopolo, Stylebus, Servicar, Zeroid and Ford.
The exhibition will also host the second session of the Sustainable Bus Tour 2026, centered on “Building zero emission buses through partnerships. Platforms, investments, industrial strategies“.

30 new exhibitors at FIAA 2026
According to the organising committee, FIAA 2026 will also welcome more than 30 new exhibitors, underlining the renewal of the show’s offering and reinforcing its role as a reference platform for the bus and coach industry in the Iberian Peninsula. The fair’s international dimension is expanding as well, with a 50% increase in overseas exhibitors.
FIAA 2026 will once again aim to position itself as a multi-sector event, bringing together vehicle and chassis manufacturers, after-sales and maintenance specialists, technology and software providers, mobility services, associations, media, as well as companies active in alternative energies, sustainability, transport infrastructure and safety.
The 2026 edition will also host the fifth Minibus of the Year awards, gathering the 23 members of the international jury from 22 countries.

During the latest meeting of the FIAA Organising Committee, Rafael Barbadillo, president of Confebús, highlighted that the upcoming edition will take place at a particularly positive moment for the Spanish bus and coach sector, characterised by solid prospects and opportunities for growth (although, according to ACEA’s figures, the he Spanish bus and coach market closed 2025 with 3,897 registrations, a 4.0% decrease compared with the previous year).
“The bus is consolidating its position as the great silent leader of sustainable mobility: it is the mode of transport that moves the most passengers in Spain and a cornerstone of territorial cohesion. This year we have also seen the boost of the new Sustainable Mobility Law, which, together with policies to promote public transport, further strengthen the role of collective transport. I invite everyone to participate in this edition, which will be particularly significant for the future of the sector,” added Barbadillo.
“FIAA is evolving to respond to the real needs of the sector and to consolidate its position as a strategic event for the sector at a time of transformation,” explains David Moneo, director of the Fair. “FIAA acts as a neutral space that facilitates dialogue, knowledge sharing and access to different technological solutions so that each operator can make informed decisions. What’s more, the growing international expansion of FIAA brings new opportunities for companies in the sector and boosts their competitiveness.”
