From September 17-22, 2024, IAA Transportation returns to Hannover. In recent weeks we have written about how the incoming edition includes an interesting novelty on the bus&coach side, as there will be an outdoor theme park dedicated to bus&coach.

In recent years, the vocation of the Hannover event has increasingly gone toward the world of freight transport, relegating passenger transport, and therefore buses, to an increasingly marginal role (just think of the last 2022 edition).

That said, the organization of the kermesse has announced the first exhibitors who will animate the appointment set for late summer, also letting it be known that they will be numerically more than in 2022, just as the international roster will be larger.

Who will be exhibiting at IAA Transportation 2024

Suppliers include companies such as Bosch, Continental, DENSO, FORVIA, Magna, MAHLE, MANN+HUMMEL, Schaeffler Technologies, SHIG, Valeo, and ZF Group. Leading battery manufacturers such as CALB Group Co., CATL, Clarios, EVE, Farasis Energy and LG Energy Solution will present innovative energy storage solutions. Charging solution providers such as Ekoenergetyka-Polska, i-charging mobilidade elétrica S.A., Milence, Siemens, TotalEnergies Charging Solutions Deutschland and Udenco will offer insights into the future of charging technology.

Strong presence of truck and body manufacturers

With F.X. Meiller, Fliegl, Kaessbohrer, Kögel, Krone and PALFINGER, as well as Rohr Spezialfahrzeuge, Schmitz-Cargobull, Spier, Trailer Dynamics and Wecon, global market leaders will present their variety of products.

“The positive response from the world’s leading companies underscores our industry’s immense commitment to positioning itself for the future. As catalysts for innovation, IAA Transportation exhibitors have already set the standard in 2022. In 2024 we will return, stronger and with a broader horizon, ready to provide a platform worthy of this ever-evolving industry,” said Jürgen Mindel, managing director of the VDA.

In the truck sector, heavyweights such as BMC, BYD, DAF, Daimler Truck, Enginius, Ford Trucks, MAN, Hyundai Motor Company, IVECO, JAC MOTORS, Quantron, Superpanther, Scania, Volvo, and others will present their visions for heavy transport. Hydrogen fuel cell technology will be presented by pioneers such as Air Products, Keyou and Hexagon Purus.

In the light commercial vehicle segment, companies such as Ford, Hyvia, Kia, Maxus, Piaggio, Renault, Toyota and VW Commercial Vehicles will present their products. IAA Transportation’s thematic offering is rounded out by tire manufacturers such as Bridgestone, Goodyear and Michelin. In addition, the German Aerospace Center, Aeva and Hesai will present future-oriented conceptual solutions for autonomous driving using advanced LiDAR technologies and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The preliminary list of IAA Transportation exhibitors will be published in June at www.iaa-transportation.com.
