Altas Auto announces that Edvardas Radzevicius, who has served as CEO for 23 years, will step down from his position and move to a role on the company’s board of directors. Ignas Pranskevičius, an experienced management professional, will take over as CEO.

Radzevicius explained that the leadership change has been planned over several years. “The company is in a good position now, and it’s the right time for this transition,” he is quoted as saying a in a post on Altas’ Linkedin page. “We have seen steady growth, and with a team of over 300 professionals, we are ready for the next phase.”

Altas Auto has seen consistent growth, with an annual increase of 30% and recognition across Western Europe, it states. The company has also recently expanded its product offerings, introducing electric buses such as the Altas Novus City V7.

“We have recently introduced compact, reliable, and spacious EV buses such as the Altas Novus City V7 and N8, and this year, we are entering the maxi bus market as well. We are expanding our operations and expertise, and managing this growth requires exceptionally high management standards. Ignas embodies these qualities,” said the founder of Altas Auto.
