Scania announces three new Executive Vice Presidents’ appointments — Stefano Fedel, Camilla Dewoon and Anna Carmo e Silva — as part of a wider organisational restructuring designed to accelerate performance, respond to evolving market conditions, and strengthen long-term competitiveness.

The company notes that the transport industry is undergoing rapid transformation, shaped by new technologies, regionalisation and shifting global market conditions. Against this backdrop, Scania is refining its operating model to streamline decision-making, strengthen value creation and simplify internal processes.

Scania Executive Board: some interesting changes

From 1 January 2026, Scania will consolidate Sales and Marketing with Commercial Operations under a single global function: Scania Commercial. The new unit will be responsible for worldwide market strategy, sales execution and commercial development.

The function will be led by Stefano Fedel, appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Scania Commercial. Born in 1970 and holding a degree in Engineering of Materials, Fedel joined Scania in 2001 and has held senior positions across markets and functions. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing.

To accelerate Scania’s growth ambitions in China, Camilla Dewoon has been appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Scania Group China, effective 1 January 2026. Dewoon, born in 1973, holds a Master of Science in Economics and joined Scania in 1998. Her background spans communications, sustainability, brand development and international market engagement. She currently leads China Governance at Scania.

Scania is also merging its strategy-related functions with communications and sustainability to form a new unit: Strategy and Communications. The division will be led by Anna Carmo e Silva, appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Strategy and Communications from 1 December. Born in 1977 and holding a Master of Science in Engineering, she joined Scania as a trainee and has since held several strategic and operational leadership roles. She has in the past covered the role of Senior Vice President Buses & Coaches and head of ACEA bus and coach division.

Scania stresses that “Executive Board appointments involve a reallocation of responsibilities and the size of Scania’s Executive Board remains unchanged. Anna Carmo e Silva joins the Executive Board, and the role previously held by the Head of Scania Commercial Operations will not be replaced”.
