Solaris Italy has appointed Riccardo Cornetto as Managing Director, succeeding Alberto Fiore, who will remain in the company’s management team as Commercial Director (which is the role previously held by Riccardo Cornetto).
The appointment was announced by Solaris Italy and is presented by the company as a transition in continuity within the subsidiary’s management structure. Cornetto takes over the role from Alberto Fiore, who led Solaris Italy for many years and contributed to the company’s development from its founding phase through its current market position.
Riccardo Cornetto takes over Solaris Italy leadership
According to Solaris Italy, the change is part of a natural process of organisational evolution. Fiore will remain in the company’s management team as Commercial Director, continuing to support the business with his experience, market knowledge and commercial expertise.
“The strength of Solaris Italy lies in its people and in the uniqueness of a team spirit that has always represented a benchmark for our organization, combined with a comprehensive and advanced portfolio of products and services capable of effectively meeting the increasingly complex needs of public transport operators,” said the new Managing Director Riccardo Cornetto. “I take on the leadership of this subsidiary with great pride and a strong sense of responsibility, supported by the value of the team and the continued support of Alberto Fiore.”
