Temsa announced it has reached a market share of more than 30% in the European midi segment based on early 2026 results, following record European sales in 2025.

The Turkish manufacturer presented the figure at FIAA 2026 in Madrid, where the Prestij midibus and the 9-metre battery-electric Avenue Neo 9e were displayed side by side. Europe remains one of its core international markets, with total sales volumes in the region now twice their pre-pandemic level.

Europe cannot be approached as a single market. Customer expectations, regulations, infrastructure and operating conditions differ significantly from country to country. We believe our ability to understand these differences and respond with the right products and solutions sets us apart. We combine our global engineering capabilities with local market knowledge and flexibility.

Evren Güzel, CEO, Temsa

Temsa says 2025 marked its highest-ever annual sales volume in Europe, with sales records registered in France, Germany, the UK, Ireland, Greece and Belgium. The company attributes the European volumes primarily to its coach and midibus activities and says it ranks among the top ten coach manufacturers in both Europe and Spain.

Temsa’s broader global production has exceeded 140,000 vehicles, according to company data. More than 19,000 vehicles have been exported to 70 countries, while Temsa states that its vehicles have accumulated more than 10 billion kilometres in operation worldwide.

Temsa Prestij supports European midi market share above 30%

The Prestij is central to Temsa’s midi range. More than 22,000 units have been sold worldwide since the model was first launched in 1992, according to figures released by the manufacturer.

Temsa introduced the latest Prestij generation in May 2025 under the “Legend. Reborn.” concept. It was the model’s most extensive design renewal since 2016, while retaining its compact vehicle format.

The latest version features a redesigned exterior, updated interior and additional safety technologies. It is intended for short- and medium-distance operations including tourism services, airport transfers, employee and school transport and corporate fleets.

Temsa also offers the vehicle with 29 language options and a three-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. The manufacturer says it is continuing to expand the Prestij’s presence across European markets.

The vehicle has a turning radius of 7,070 millimetres and is designed for urban and longer suburban services. Temsa specifies DC fast charging at up to 300 kW, with a full charge taking 75 minutes.

The Avenue Neo 9e follows the MD9 Electricity in TEMSA’s electric bus portfolio. According to the manufacturer, MD9 Electricity vehicles have accumulated more than five million kilometres in operation across different markets since 2016.
