Temsa presented the Avenue Neo, its new 9-meter electric city bus, at Busworld 2025 in Brussels. The vehicle is based on the MD9 Electricity platform (tested over more than five million kilometers in diverse conditions from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean, Temsa says). Powered by a TM4 265 kW electric motor and up to 384 kWh of liquid-cooled batteries, it can carry up to 75 passengers and achieve up to 600 kilometers of range depending on configuration.

Fast charging is possible in 75 minutes via a 300 kW DC connection, with an inverted pantograph option also available. Comfort is supported by a 20 kW electric preheater and a 33 kW air conditioning system.

Between 2022 and 2024, the company expanded its business by nearly 70% in euro terms, reaching €429 million in revenue in 2024, the highest in its history. Today, 68% of revenues come from international markets, with growth of 43% in Europe and 49% in the U.S. Temsa’s global footprint includes production of over 140,000 vehicles and operations in 70 countries.

As part of its Busworld 2025 showcase, Temsa also introduced the New Prestij (we’ve tested it!), making its European debut. First launched in 1992 and produced in over 20,000 units, Prestij has built a long-standing reputation for versatility and reliability. The latest version brings this legacy into a new era with renewed styling, LED lighting, and a modern digital driver interface in 29 languages. Safety and comfort have been upgraded with ABA6, dual blind spot detection compliant with GSR regulations, and an optional AMT gearbox. The model comes with a two-year vehicle warranty and a three-year unlimited mileage powertrain warranty.

Alongside Avenue Neo and New Prestij, the display included the LD SB, Temsa’s best-selling intercity model in Europe, now featuring updated design, GSR compliance, and three driveline options—two diesel and one fully electric with 280–350 kWh battery configurations. The Maraton, TEMSA’s flagship coach with over 800 million kilometers of operational experience, was presented with several upgrades including camera mirror, new lighting features, digital cockpit, smart steering wheel, and advanced safety systems. From 2026, it will integrate a new DAF MX-11 engine and ZF Traxon transmission, improving torque, comfort, and fuel efficiency by up to 3%. The stand also featured TEMSA’s latest modular battery packs with different chemistries, highlighting its engineering capabilities in electrification.

“Our motto, ‘Designed to Lead Your Journey,’ defines our culture and our vision as a mobility company,” said Evren Güzel, CEO of Temsa. “Sustainability runs through everything we do, and innovation always translates into real solutions for our customers. Between 2022 and 2024, we grew nearly 70 percent in euro terms, proving that our transformation is both strategic and financial.”

“At Temsa, every step we take is guided by productization—by turning ideas into vehicles that meet real customer needs,” added Caner Sevginer, Vice President of R&D and Technology. “Avenue Neo is not just a new bus; it is the embodiment of our ability to transform accumulated know-how into customer-oriented, future-ready mobility solutions.”
