The company Voyage Vandivinit is a family business operating on the Moselle region, in the south of Luxembourg. The operator has decided to make its first step in the switch to electromobility. For this purpose, it was supplied with five 12m electric Volvo 7900 buses. These buses are the company’s first 100% electric buses. They will be in operation between Mondorf and Remich, among others.

These buses can accommodate up to 90 passengers. They are equipped with a 200 kWh battery with a range of about 130km, the manufacturer points out. To recharge these buses, Voyage Vandivinit has installed an Oppcharge quick charging station at its depot. This station can deliver up to 450 kW. In addition, the company has also installed six Combo2 plug-in night chargers.

A new livery to celebrate Voyages Vandivinit first e-buses

To celebrate the launch of its first zero-emission buses, Voyage Vandivinit has created a brand new graphic design that features the claim: “Electric mobility : Together for a sustainable future”.

Laurent Bravetti, Director Volvo Bus Luxembourg, says: «We were delighted to start a new partnership with Voyages Vandivinit through this first delivery of 100% electric buses. These are the first zero-emission buses that will circulate in the Moselle region, one of the jewels of Luxembourg tourism. These buses offer reliability never before achieved in the world of electric buses. We are also satisfied with the choice of an Oppcharge station to quickly recharge our buses. Today no less than 11 such stations have been deployed in Luxembourg. This makes it a true national standard for rapid bus recharging. We are particularly pleased to begin this collaboration with Voyages Vandivinit».
