Solaris announces it has secured another significant contract to deliver electric buses to Sweden: 89 electric buses for Stockholm will be operated by Nobina. This order includes Solaris Urbino 15 LE electric models and follows recent orders from the same carrier.

In 2024, Solaris delivered 55 electric buses to Nobina for Stockholm (ordered in late 2023) and 28 buses for Nobina Skane. Solaris, as shared during the presentation of company’s results 2024, is the top seller of zero emission buses in Europe, with 3.074 deliveries and a 13.9% market share between 2012 and 2024. And 5,500 Solaris zero emission buses (including 200 trolleybuses) are today running all around Europe.

Solaris 15-meter e-buses for Stockholm

Solaris Urbino 15 LE electric buses, equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries, will be delivered in the first half of 2026 and will serve both urban and suburban routes in the Stockholm area.

Solaris has been present in the Swedish market since 2003, delivering nearly 800 buses, including zero-emission battery and hydrogen vehicles in recent years.
