International participation at FIAA 2026 is expected to grow by 50%, with overall expansion of around 30% compared to the previous edition. With ten months still to go, more than 75% of the exhibition space is already booked, the expo’s organizer IFEMA states.

FIAA advances towards its 17th edition, scheduled from 22 to 24 September 2026 in Madrid, halls 7 and 9. The event reconfirms its role as a leading international meeting point for the bus and coach sector.

The latest 2024 edition gave the opportunity to Irizar to present the i3 Low Floor electric bus model, while Indcar unveiled the Bluebus 6-meter marketed as e-B6 minibus. The expo also hosted the handover ceremony of the Sustainable Bus Awards 2025.

To further strengthen commercial opportunities and direct engagement between supply and demand, FIAA 2026 announces it will introduce an international buyers’ programme, targeting key operators and decision-makers from over twenty strategic markets.

Through these initiatives, FIAA reinforces its commitment to the growth of the bus and coach industry and to promoting collective mobility as a cornerstone of more efficient and sustainable transport.
