Prawaas 4.0, India’s flagship multimodal transport show, officially commenced on August 29, 2024, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). This three-day event, running until August 31, 2024, has drawn key figures from the transport industry, making it a landmark gathering for operators, manufacturers, policymakers, and industry experts from across India. 

Organized by the Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI), Prawaas 4.0, officially titled “Prawaas 2024 – India International Bus & Car Travel Show,” is at the fourth edition.

Prawaas 4.0: the exhibitors

Prawaas 4.0 showcases a broad spectrum of the transport industry, featuring leading bus and car manufacturers, including Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, JBM, EKA Mobility, and Prakash Coach. Also present are key players in the electric vehicle (EV) and alternative fuel segments, such as Sun Mobility and Exponent, along with renowned bus and car body builders like Veera Vahana Udyog Pvt. Ltd.

The exhibition also includes an impressive lineup of companies specializing in accessories, maintenance, and consulting services. Notable exhibitors include Eberspächer, JTAC, Mass Trans, Pacoline Industries, Abhi Bus, RedBus, Nippon Paints, Durtuff, SIKA India, Bosch, Spheros, and Trans ACNR. These companies are showcasing everything from tyres, seats, and batteries to advanced telematics and fleet management systems.

The grand opening of Prawaas 4.0 was marked by the presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, who delivered an insightful address, emphasizing the vital role of sustainable and integrated transport solutions in shaping the future of India. Shri D.K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, served as the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony, reinforcing the event’s significance and highlighting transport innovation.

Moreover, leading operators are displaying their products and services, underscoring the event’s role as a platform for the latest innovations and best practices in the industry.
