The 2026 edition expanded its exhibition capacity with the addition of an extra hall, reflecting increased demand from exhibitors. The event included participation from stakeholders across the sector, including operators, manufacturers, media and political representatives.

The programme combined static displays, live vehicle demonstrations and conference sessions. Attendees accessed product showcases alongside technical presentations and networking opportunities, with sessions held on multiple stages including the “Deep Dive Stage”.
Bus2Bus is set to extend its format and geographic reach in the coming years. The event will introduce a dedicated Bus2Bus Zone at InnoTrans Asia, scheduled to take place in Singapore from 7 to 9 September 2027.
These developments are aligned with ongoing adjustments to the event structure and its positioning within international markets.

In addition to key future topics such as autonomous driving and the electrification of bus fleets, rising energy prices are one of the industry’s most pressing challenges. This makes direct dialogue with policymakers all the more important,” said Christiane Leonard, CEO of the Federal Association of German Bus Companies (bdo).
