CALSTART announces it has appointed Suzette Salandy and Marc Gottschalk as Vice President, People Resources and Chief Legal Counsel, respectively.  

Non profit organization CALSTART, focusing on supporting the growth of the clean transportation technology industry and responsible among other things of the yearly survey Zeroing on Zero-emission buses, states it has grown recently to a staff of more than 200 and now administers between $200–500 million in clean transportation incentives. Both hires, which serve on the executive team, are critical to meet the growing needs of CALSTART.

Suzette Salandy and Marc Gottschalk join CALSTART

Suzette Salandy will be responsible for overseeing human resources services and operations as well as leading the organization through periods of growth. Marc Gottschalk will be responsible for all legal and compliance activities.

Marc is an accomplished attorney who is well known for the excellent legal counsel he has provided to previous clients in the technology arena, including Proterra, Iontra, and Sanmina. Marc also co-founded the world’s leading cleantech accelerator, Cleantech Open. This leadership role will help us maximize our contracts and growing operations in the clean transportation sector,” he adds.
