Iveco Bus, Menarini, Otokar, Solaris, Troiani (Italian dealer of Temsa and Bmc) and Scania. It is the six of them who have submitted bids for the four lots of the maxi-tender by Consip for a total of 730 gas-powered vehicles with a total value of 470 million euros.

Specifically, 390 Class I all CNG and 340 Class II (of which 90 LNG). But let’s see them all in detail…

The four lots of the Consip all-gas tender

For the first lot – 80 urban CNG – the only company to submit a bid was Iveco Bus-Indcar.

Coming to the second – 110 pieces of 10.5-meter long, also CNG, urban – it is a three-way fight between Iveco, Menarini and Otokar.

Then the third lot, the most massive: 450 pieces, of which 250 Class I and 200 Class II CNG 12-meter long. For the first 250 vehicles, a four-way challenge between Iveco, Menarini, Otokar, Solaris and also Troiani, while for the 200 suburban CNG the bids are signed Iveco and Otokar.

Lastly, the fourth: 90 buses, also 12 meters in Class II, but LNG (liquefied natural gas): Menarini and Scania to stamp the bidding card.
