Borussia Mönchengladbach and MAN Truck & Bus have extended their long-standing partnership, which began in 2012, through to 2028. Under the renewed agreement, the Bundesliga club will continue to rely on the MAN Lion’s Coach as the official team coach for the first team, both for home and away fixtures.
The Lion’s contribution, however, goes well beyond providing the MAN Lion’s Coach for the first team. Borussia Mönchengladbach’s fleet also includes 25 MAN TGE Combi vehicles, used primarily by the club’s youth teams, as well as for transport to training camps, training sessions and away matches.

“Borussia Mönchengladbach and MAN share a reliable partnership that has grown over many years. With our team coach and TGE fleet, we ensure that both the professionals and the youth players reach their destination safely, comfortably and reliably at all times. We are delighted to be continuing this successful journey together until 2028,” said Dennis Affeld, Chairman of the Management Board of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland, on the occasion of the contract extension.

Borussia Mönchengladbach is also placing its trust in continuity: “Long-term partnerships are a particular sign of mutual trust in professional sport. That is why we are delighted to continue our successful journey with MAN, and to work together to lay the foundation for our professionals and youth players to remain reliably and safely mobile at all times,” said Marcel Cox, Director of Sponsoring & International Partnerships, on the contract extension.
