Otokar at FIAA 2026 with five buses, from e-Territo to Level 4 autonomous e-Centro

Otokar is exhibiting five bus models at FIAA 2026 in Madrid, including the electric e-TERRITO and e-KENT and the Level 4 autonomous e-CENTRO.

The Turkish manufacturer is attending the 16th edition of FIAA together with its Spanish dealer Somauto, presenting a line-up spanning urban, intercity and tourism applications. The exhibition is taking place at IFEMA MADRID from 22 to 24 September, with Otokar exhibiting at Stand 9C05 in Hall 9.

According to Otokar, more than 66,000 of its buses are currently in service in over 60 countries. The manufacturer is part of Koç Group and produces buses at its industrial facilities in Sakarya, Türkiye.

The company’s presence in Madrid comes alongside its 17-year partnership with Somauto. The Spanish dealer reports a fleet of more than 1,200 Otokar vehicles in Spain and says it has recently increased investment in after-sales services and spare parts.

Otokar displays e-TERRITO and e-KENT electric buses at FIAA 2026

Five vehicles make up Otokar’s FIAA 2026 display: the e-TERRITO, e-KENT, Autonomous e-CENTRO, NAVIGO Mega and ULYSO. The range covers battery-electric urban and intercity applications as well as tourism buses.

The e-TERRITO is a 100% electric model developed for intercity passenger transport, shuttle operations and school transportation. According to Otokar, it is available in 12- and 13-metre configurations and can accommodate up to 63 seated passengers. The vehicle also features luggage compartments for intercity applications.

For urban operations, Otokar is displaying the e-KENT battery-electric city bus. The model is available in different lengths and offers capacity for up to 102 passengers. Otokar identifies spacious driver and passenger areas among the characteristics of the platform.

The electric models are joined by the NAVIGO Mega and ULYSO, representing the manufacturer’s tourism bus portfolio.

Otokar said at FIAA that development of its electric range remains one of three objectives identified for its bus activities, alongside the development of its Sakarya manufacturing operation and international expansion, particularly in European markets.

Level 4 autonomous e-CENTRO presented in Madrid

The third electrified vehicle on the stand is the Autonomous e-CENTRO, equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving technology.

Otokar states that the software development, testing and implementation work for the vehicle was carried out in-house. The system is designed to identify the vehicle’s position, operate under different weather conditions and approach designated stops for passenger boarding and alighting.

An Autonomous e-CENTRO is already carrying passengers at Mercamadrid in Madrid, according to Somauto.

The manufacturer’s activities in Spain are being presented at FIAA alongside figures on its wider international operations. Otokar says its commercial vehicles are exported to more than 60 countries and that it has subsidiaries in France, Italy, Romania, the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan, together with a branch office in Germany.
