At Busworld Europe 2025, Castrosua and Yutong announced the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) in view of a potential strategic collaboration for the development, production, and marketing of 100% electric buses for the European market.

It’s the first time that Yutong announces intent of jointly producing buses in Europe with bodywork partners. Castrosua already work with Volvo (they presented an e-coach at Busworld), BYD and Scania among others.
