The Mobility House has announced the sale of its fleet electrification business unit, The Mobility House Solutions, to mobility services provider Edenred, with completion of the transaction expected in the third quarter of 2026.

The transaction covers The Mobility House Solutions, the group’s business unit focused on turnkey charging infrastructure and energy management systems for commercial fleets. The company serves more than 5,000 customers and operates over 2,500 actively managed fleet depots. Around 60 employees are part of the business.

Earlier this year, The Mobility House had launched in North America the Cascade EV Aggregator to enable utility-level EV charging management. The company had entered a partnership with Schneider Electric in 2025.

The Mobility House is active in the bus sector through energy management and charging solutions and has been involved in several commercial vehicle electrification projects, including partnerships supporting electric bus deployment and charging infrastructure management in cities such as Amsterdam, New York, San Diego.

The acquisition of TMH Solutions significantly strengthens our position in the electromobility market for B2B clients, particularly in supporting private and semi-private charging needs, with the installation of charging points at workplaces and depots. It enables Edenred to expand its presence across the electromobility value chain and to fully address B2B fleet managers’ needs in the electrification of their fleets

Edenred acquires The Mobility House Solutions

As trade agency electrive points out, The Mobility House had reorganized its business in 2024 into four units: The Mobility House Energy, The Mobility House Solutions, The Mobility House Charging and The Mobility House North America.

Now, according to the companies, The Mobility House Solutions will continue operating under a new name, Edenred e-Mobility GmbH, while maintaining the existing ChargePilot and The Mobility House Solutions brands.

The acquisition includes ChargePilot, the charge and energy management platform developed by The Mobility House Solutions. Edenred will acquire rights to the software across Europe and Latin America. The Mobility House will retain ChargePilot development and distribution activities in North America and the Asia-Pacific region through its teams in Belmont, Montreal and Singapore.

Edenred, which serves more than 300,000 corporate customers across Europe and Latin America, stated that the acquisition will strengthen its position in the commercial fleet electrification market.

Focus shifts to Vehicle-to-Grid and energy market services

For The Mobility House Group, the transaction represents a strategic shift towards energy-related activities. The company stated that it will place greater emphasis on Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) services, stationary battery storage (a project on this subject was started in 2024), flexibility aggregation and participation in energy markets.

Focus and a clear, rapidly scalable business model that the entire team is aligned behind are essential prerequisites for a startup like The Mobility House to further expand its technological leadership, especially in V2G with electric vehicles, and create lasting value. We want to become the next-generation energy provider for households and vehicles, supplying them with energy at previously unimaginable low cost. Focus is indispensable to achieving that. The sale of our successful fleet and charging solutions business to Edenred will make us significantly faster and more efficient at our core

Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Board of Directors, The Mobility House

As part of the agreement, The Mobility House Energy GmbH will become a commercial partner of Edenred. The partnership will allow Edenred to integrate flexibility aggregation and energy trading services into its offering for fleet operators.

The company stated that these services are designed to enable electric vehicle fleets to participate in energy markets when vehicles are not in operation.

The Mobility House said existing customer contracts, services and support activities will continue without changes following the acquisition. Employees will remain based at the company’s Munich headquarters.

The transaction does not include The Mobility House Charging division, which serves private customers, specialist partners and resellers with charging products and wallbox solutions. Other group activities, including The Mobility House North America, also remain within the company.
