The announcement came at the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress in Barcelona: Moventis (Moventia’s public transportation service provider) has been selected to provide intercity transportation services in 60 cities in Saudi Arabia.

The new service, focused on improving mobility along the Red Sea corridor, establishes vital connections between 60 major cities, including Mecca, Jeddah, Medina and Riyadh. It will transport up to 1.5 million people a year. The transportation network, part of the “Northwest Bus” consortium, consists of 23 routes and 200 daily shipments. The consortium has acquired 150 12-meter buses
