The vehicle was launched by Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Nishant Arya, Chairman of JBM Electric Vehicles.

The new GALAXY platform is offered in three variants: seater, sleeper & seater, and full sleeper. The newly introduced sleeper & seater version is available with two interior layouts. Safety, comfort and electric driveline

The GALAXY adopts a European-inspired exterior and interior design, with panoramic windows, individual air-conditioning vents, reading lights, USB charging sockets and increased passenger space, JBM states.

The coach is equipped with electronically controlled air suspension together with kneeling and height-adjustment functions to facilitate boarding. The safety package includes an ADAS-enabled architecture, Electronic Braking System (EBS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), hill-hold functionality, live surveillance cameras and emergency exits.
