In order to have a fully zero-emission fleet on the road by 2035, the Flemish transport company De Lijn has ordered 32 articulated electric buses from Iveco Bus: the E-Way e-buses will be delivered from 2025-2026.

This is a follow-up order to an existing framework agreement worth around €24 million. De Lijn previously ordered 109 similar articulated electric buses from Iveco. The e-buses are equipped with all the latest safety features, such as camera mirrors, collision avoidance, blind spot sensors and detection systems for cyclists and pedestrians.

With this order, De Lijn continues its greening program. The Flemish Government fully supports the further sustainability of public transport with additional investments.
