This year, Altas is bringing at Bus2Bus 2024 in Berlin its Altas Novus Multiline and the new electric 7,5 m. length 10 tons city bus Altas Novus City V7, developed in partnership with Zhongtong and presented last year at Busworld.

As pre-orders for Altas Novus City V7 have already started, transportation companies are actively testing the new product across Europe at the dedicated roadshow program.

Having up to 37 total passengers and up to 16 sitting places on board, Altas Novus City V7 is suitable both for urban and suburban public transportation. The new V7 midi bus is crafted using quality components sourced from global suppliers, ensuring both high overall bus quality and easy after sale service.

Dana TM4 electric motor generates 200 kW output through the direct shaft to the rear axle. After testing on Italian mountain roads, Altas says it has achieved the following “SORT2 results reflect in real life situations: 38,5 kWh / 100 km and up to 309 km of range with fully charged CATL 140 kWh capacity batteries”.

“Public transportation companies are beginning to show interest in our new offerings. We’ve thoroughly gathered feedback from end-users and are excited to craft a well designed product that combines the versatility of mini buses with the functionality of mid sized buses,” explains Edvardas Radzevičius, CEO of Altas.

“At the moment the research and development stage is done, and we are moving forward with the homologation process. The first deliveries are expected at the beginning of 2024 autumn. Pre-orders are filling up fast and we invite you to experience the brand new City V7 for yourself, coming to Bus2Bus expo in Berlin,” invites Altas’ CEO.

What about Altas Novus Multiline?

Another Altas electric flagship, the Altas Novus Multiline, will be presented at Berlin expo, too. This bus is built on the reliable Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platform. The 7367 mm Sprinter chassis offers a comfortable ride for short trips or suburban journeys, accommodating 16–19 passengers. With the flexibility to include up to 2 wheelchair-accessible spaces and an electric lift for seamless boarding, accessibility and comfort are at the forefront of design.

The new Altas Novus Multiline now features the latest Elinta Motors electric drivetrain, boasting a newly upgraded 126 kWh NMC battery pack and a brand new 4th generation 165 kW electric motor. This advancement delivers an impressive range of 300 km (SORT2).

“Today, Germany stands as one of Altas’s key markets. We prioritize not only delivering quality products but also ensuring good service quality across all regions of the country. Furthermore, our network of partners in the Germany, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland region continues to grow steadily. We are committed to selecting only the finest partners to further enhance our reach and service offerings,” says Altas’s CEO.
