Irizar to unveil 15-meter variant of its i3 Electric Normal Floor intercity bus at FIAA 2026

Irizar will unveil the new three-axle Irizar i3 Electric Normal Floor 15-metre platform, alongside the ie tram Efficient’s first Spanish appearance (following unveiling at Mobco in June), at FIAA 2026 in Madrid, that will be welcoming more than 100 participating companies.

The Irizar Group has announced its participation in FIAA 2026, where it will display its latest multi-technology buses and coaches together with new developments in electric mobility. The exhibition, taking place in Madrid from 22 to 24 September, will feature the company’s latest products across urban, intercity and long-distance applications. According to the company, the official presentation of the new vehicles and technologies will be held on September 22 at 1:30 p.m.

New Irizar electric vehicles to debut at FIAA

In addition to the vehicle display, Irizar states it will introduce two dedicated areas within its exhibition space. For the first time, the company will include an Irizar Service Area, where representatives will present the manufacturer’s aftersales services, digital applications and genuine spare parts offering. A second area will focus on sustainability and circular economy initiatives. The space will showcase the Izir product line, developed using surplus materials generated during the company’s bus manufacturing process.

Among the main premieres is the new three-axle Irizar i3 Electric Normal Floor in the 15-metre configuration. The vehicle joins the Normal Floor lineup and will contribute to the growing population of models available in the European intercity electric bus market. Following the launch of the Low Entry electric Irizar i3 in 2024, in fact, Irizar completed its battery-electric intercity bus portfolio at Busworld Europe 2025 with the introduction of the i3 Normal Floor, whose family will then soon be widened with a 15-meter version.

The stand will also feature the Irizar ie tram Efficient, which was introduced in Paris in June this year and will make its first appearance in Spain. The model joins the company’s latest generation of electric urban vehicles presented under the Efficient product family.

Visitors to booth 9C06 in Hall 9 will be able to see the Group’s complete vehicle range, including the Irizar i6S Efficient and the Irizar i8 coaches.
