Madrid’s FIAA 2026 will host over 100 already-confirmed exhibitors. The organizer IFEMA points out that the event will see “the electrification of fleets, advancements in technology and innovation, and the optimisation of energy efficiency among the central areas of the exhibition.

The list of confirmed manufacturers and bodybuilders includes Irizar, Daimler Buses, Iveco Bus, Higer – Mobility Bus, Yutong, BYD, Otokar – Somauto, Indcar, Karsan, Temsa, Solaris, Anadolu Isuzu, Marcopolo, Stylebus, Servicar, Zeroid and Farizon among others.

During FIAA Madrid, the second initiative of the Sustainable Bus Tour 2026 will be held (after the first one was held at BUS2BUS in mid-April): entitled “Building zero emission buses through partnerships. Platforms, investments, industrial strategies”, the session aims to examine how the push towards zero emission technologies is reshaping the European manufacturing ecosystem, increasing reliance on specialised suppliers and accelerating the shift from pure vehicle manufacturing to integrated service and platform-based models.

FIAA 2026 main pillars are…

IFEMA Madrid states that that FIAA 2026 will include zero- and low-emission vehicles, charging infrastructure, digital platforms, energy management systems and fleet optimisation tools. The exhibition will also cover intelligent driving systems and autonomous bus developments within a broader technology ecosystem involving connectivity, automation, software and data management.

According to IFEMA Madrid, FIAA 2026 has already passed 100 confirmed exhibiting companies. International participation has increased by more than 50% as already anticipated a couple months ago, while 35 companies are due to exhibit at the fair for the first time.

The event is supported by Spanish associations including ANETRA, ASCABUS, ATUC, CONFEBUS, DIREBUS and FECAV. International supporting organisations include ANTROP, ARP and the FBAA.

FIAA 2026 also benefits from the active support and involvement of the sector’s primary national and international associations. In Spain, participating collaborators include ANETRA, ASCABUS, ATUC, CONFEBUS, DIREBUS and FECAV, whilst international participants include ANTROP (the Portuguese Association of Collective Road Passenger Transport), ARP (the Portuguese Road Passenger Transport Association) and the FBAA (the Federation of Belgian Bus and Coach Operators).

“By combining corporate leadership, international growth, technological drive, innovation and institutional support, FIAA 2026 is positioned as the premier global showcase for road passenger transport trends and as a must-attend event for professionals seeking to generate business, establish alliances and anticipate the mobility challenges of the future”, IFEMA stresses.
