The third issue of Sustainable Bus Magazine for 2025 is now available and will be distributed at Busworld Europe and the Zero Emission Bus Conference (where Sustainable Bus is part of the Advisory Committee). The publication continues its focus on documenting the development of the zero-emission bus market with analysis, interviews, and reporting from across the sector. CHECK IT OUT HERE!

Sustainable Bus magazine issue, what are we featuring?

The issue includes coverage of recent product introductions, such as the steps taken by BYD Europe and Karsan into the intercity segment through low-entry models, and the launch of the new generation TEMSA Prestij compact coach (see our VIDEO TEST DRIVE). The production landscape is examined through a feature on the IVECO BUS plant in Vysoké Mýto, with attention to current processes and the facility’s approach to future design.

Interviews provide perspective on the strategic choices of operators and service providers. Transdev CEO Thierry Mallet discusses the changing requirements of suburban mobility, while Uber’s Global Transit Head Dmitriy Vanchugov outlines how partnerships with public transport authorities are being structured.

On the technological side, the magazine reviews the progress of the JIVE projects, highlighting figures, objectives, and outcomes from European collaborations on hydrogen buses. The vehicle test and spotlight section covers several models, including the MAN Lion’s Coach 14 E, the first battery-electric coach from a major European manufacturer; the Hyundai Elec FC 12, presented after initial operations in Vienna; the Yutong IC12E, developed for intercity use and tested on the road (see our VIDEO TEST DRIVE); and the ALFABUS Europa ECity L12, a new entry whose range will be widened at Busworld.
