Quantron announced some relevant changes in the company’s top management, in order to face the next challenges, starting from the ambitious plans revealed by CEO Michael Perschke at the IAA press preview in Frankfurt, at the end of June. Indeed, the German manufacturer’s participation in IAA Transportation will be a very significant one, as Quantron will unveil a new BEV truck based on MAN TG3 layout, as well as the very first hydogen fuel cell truck, capable of 700 km range. No buses are expected at the stand, according to the announcements released so far.

The company reached 10 million euros sales in 2021 and has launched the 12-meter e-bus Cizaris in February. Utz Rachner was recently hired as Global Sales Director.

Quantron AG management is going to change

Lastly, Srinath Rengarajan takes on the role of Senior Manager Corporate & Product Strategy. Rengarajan, who holds a doctorate in business administration, has extensive expertise in the areas of strategy and management consulting having previously held positions at Daimler Truck and Oliver Wyman.

Statement from CEO Perschke

“With the competent reinforcement of our international team, we are perfectly positioned to take off globally. We need to use our temporal and technological lead over the established providers to position ourselves in the internationally important commercial vehicle markets with our own QUANTRON brand vehicles and, in a second step, roll out our complete ecosystem, Quantron-as-a-Service. I am very much looking forward to successfully meeting these challenges together with our new colleagues”, said Michael Perschke, CEO and board member of Quantron AG.
