Mobco is taking place on 9-11 June 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Born from the merger of the Rencontres Nationales du Transport Public (RNTP) and European Mobility Expo (formerly known as Transport Publics), it gathers stakeholders from across the French public transport and urban mobility sectors. Alongside buses and rail vehicles, the exhibition covers charging infrastructure, software solutions, shared mobility and last-mile transport concepts.
Mobco 2026 is also marked by a selective presence of bus manufacturers. Alongside the vehicle exhibitors, Volvo and Hess are attending through information stands, while several major global players are absent from this year’s exhibition. BYD, MAN, Scania and Yutong are not participating in the event, leaving the exhibition floor largely focused on the product portfolios of manufacturers including Iveco Bus, Solaris, Daimler Buses, Irizar, Ebusco, Karsan, Otokar and Renault.
Mobco 2026 brings together nearly 250 exhibitors across 15,000 square metres at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Organisers expect around 10,000 visitors over the three-day event, combining the exhibition with the annual congress of GART and UTPF.
Mobco 2026, what’s going on?
The main news at the expo was provided by Irizar e-mobility, that took the opportunity to showcase an updated version of the ie tram, named ie tram Efficient, that follows the ie bus Efficient launched at Busworld last year and mark the completion of the renovation of its urban bus range.

Electric buses dominate the vehicle display in Paris. Iveco Bus showcases the GX 337 Elec in Île-de-France Mobilités livery. The 12-metre vehicle is equipped with the Cummins Elfa III electric driveline, delivering up to 310 kW, and features seven battery packs providing 485 kWh of installed energy capacity.
The manufacturer is using Mobco to highlight its “360° approach” to fleet electrification, positioning itself as a partner covering vehicle supply, infrastructure deployment and operational support. IVECO BUS underlines in fact the role of its Energy Mobility Solutions division as a system integrator able to support operators from site analysis and charging infrastructure deployment through to training and maintenance services. The company is also presenting its IVECO ON digital ecosystem, including fleet monitoring, remote diagnostics and smart charging management solutions developed in partnership with ChargePoint.

Solaris is present with the Urbino 12 electric based on the company’s modular drive architecture. The configuration places major drivetrain components on the roof, freeing interior space and improving accessibility. The vehicle is equipped with next-generation batteries and represents the configuration now adopted across Solaris’ battery-electric city bus portfolio.

Mercedes returns to Paris with the eCitaro equipped with fourth-generation NMC battery packs. The latest battery generation increases energy density while maintaining the same installation space. According to Daimler Buses, the 12-metre eCitaro can be equipped with up to six battery packs for a total capacity of 666 kWh. Modules are now built in cooperation with Polish BMZ.

Ebusco exhibits a 3.0 articulated bus from the Rouen fleet. The lightweight articulated vehicle entered service on the city’s T5 BRT corridor in late 2025 and can accommodate around 120 passengers, including 39 seated. Energy is supplied by more than 530 kWh of LFP batteries provided by Gotion.

Karsan attends through its French distribution network with two battery-electric vehicles: the 10-metre e-ATA and the compact e-JEST. The manufacturer continues to highlight its work in automated driving technologies, which have become a central element of its product strategy.

Otokar showcases the E-Kent 2, the latest generation of its electric city bus platform. The vehicle features roof-mounted battery packs, allowing a fully usable passenger compartment without a rear motor tower. The new generation adopts LFP battery technology supplied by CATL.
In the minibus segment, Renault displays the Master Shuttle E-Tech developed for demand-responsive and public transport applications. Built on the new Renault Master platform and assembled in the Île-de-France region, the vehicle measures 6.72 metres in length and accommodates up to 14 seated passengers.
The electric powertrain delivers 105 kW and 300 Nm of torque, while the battery offers 87 kWh of usable capacity and DC charging rates up to 130 kW.

A significant portion of the exhibition is dedicated to systems and components. ZF presents the latest generation AxTrax 2 electric portal axle, the oil-free E-Comp Scroll electric air compressor and the Solarboost rooftop photovoltaic solution aimed at reducing auxiliary energy consumption. Driventic showcases electric driveline technologies including the VEDS central motor.
