Iveco Bus brings Crossway Low Entry Elec to Turkey for the first time at Busworld 2026 (and just started Daily CKD production in Uzbekistan)

Iveco Bus is using Busworld Turkey 2026 to introduce several models to the local market while reinforcing its presence in Turkey and Central Asia.
At the exhibition taking place in Istanbul from 17 to 19 June, the manufacturer is showcasing four vehicles from its portfolio, including three models presented in Turkey for the first time. The focus is on interurban, peri-urban and urban transport applications, reflecting the company’s multi-energy strategy spanning battery-electric, biomethane and renewable-fuel-compatible technologies.
The vehicle launches come as Iveco Bus strengthens its footprint in Turkey and Central Asia, with new production and distribution agreements in Uzbekistan. Turkey remains a key market for the Daily platform, with approximately 2,000 chassis body-built annually by local manufacturers.
Since a few years, Iveco Bus as a industrial partnership in force with Otokar for production of conventional Crossway (Normal Floor only) in its Turkish plant, in addition the the Streetway range.

Crossway Low Entry Elec makes its Turkish debut
+The main novelty at the Iveco Bus stand is the Crossway Low Entry Elec, presented in Turkey for the first time following the launch in 2023 and the following facelift.
The battery-electric model expands the manufacturer’s electric portfolio alongside the E-Way, Crossway Elec and eDaily ranges. Available in both Class I and Class II configurations and in 12- and 13-metre lengths, the vehicle can be equipped with battery capacities of up to 485 kWh and offers a claimed range of up to 400 km. Charging options include CCS2 plug-in charging and pantograph systems.
The vehicle displayed in Istanbul is a 13-metre Class I version configured for overnight charging and equipped with five battery packs. It offers 38 seats and includes an accessibility ramp. The model combines the low-entry architecture already familiar from the Crossway family with a battery-electric driveline intended for urban and peri-urban operations.

Iveco Bus is also displaying the Crossway Low Entry for the first time in Turkey. The model is designed for short- and medium-distance services and is available in Class I and Class II versions. The range includes lengths from 10.8 metres to 14.5 metres and can be specified with diesel, hybrid, natural gas, hybrid CNG and battery-electric powertrains depending on the application.
Introduced to the Turkish market in 2024, the Crossway range is celebrating its twentieth anniversary in 2026. The manufacturer positions the platform as the cornerstone of its technology-neutral strategy, with configurations covering city, intercity and regional transport requirements.

Evadys and G-Way complete the display
Alongside the Crossway models, Iveco Bus is exhibiting the Evadys coach, aimed at regional and national transport operations.
Available in 12.1-metre and 12.96-metre versions, the coach accommodates up to 63 passengers and is powered by the Cursor 9 engine rated at 400 hp. The vehicle shown in Istanbul is a 13-metre Class III configuration equipped with a dedicated driver rest compartment, kitchenette and long-distance comfort features.

Another Turkish-market debut is the G-Way midibus, presented as a biomethane-compatible solution for urban transport (it was launched at Busworld Europe last year). Measuring 9.5 metres in length and 2.33 metres in width, the vehicle is powered by the Tector NEF 6 CNG engine delivering 280 hp and is offered with a range of up to 500 km. The model displayed at Busworld Turkey features 16 seats, wheelchair space, air conditioning and USB charging points.

Focus on Turkey and Central Asia
Beyond the vehicles on display, Iveco Bus is using Busworld Turkey to highlight the expansion of its footprint across Turkey and Central Asia.
The manufacturer recently formalized agreements covering both local assembly of Daily minibuses and distribution activities in Uzbekistan. CKD production, carried out in partnership with Asaka Motors International, started in May 2026, while nationwide sales and distribution of the Iveco Bus range have been entrusted to ASAKA EFVI Truck and Bus JV.
Turkey remains one of the most established markets for the Daily platform. According to the company, around 2,000 Daily chassis are body-built in the country every year by local specialist manufacturers, producing minibuses tailored to domestic operating requirements.
Local customer support is provided through FSM Demirbaş Otomotiv, which serves as the brand’s dedicated dealer in Turkey.
Beyond vehicle displays, IVECO Bus is presenting its connected services, aftersales support programmes, Energy Mobility Solutions offering and immersive virtual and mixed-reality technologies intended to support vehicle development, maintenance training and customer engagement.
