Munich Airport has expanded its zero-emission ground transport capabilities with a new electric bus depot, SBRS GmbH reports on LinkedIn. The project, delivered in partnership with AeroGround, includes 50 charging stations, each with a capacity of 120 kW, and infrastructure for 37 zero-emission buses, with a planned expansion to 72 buses. MAN has been awarded in 2024 a order for 49 e-buses (with option for further 25).

According to SBRS, part of Shell group, the installation and commissioning were carried out “in the middle of ongoing airport traffic – a real logistical masterpiece that shows how innovation and everyday life can work together smoothly.”
