From January to September this year, the volume of Chinese bus exports reached 30,840 units: +49.23 percent over the previous year.

Going into the details of the data, the Dragon country exported 18,180 large buses and coaches (+85.11% over 2022), 4,839 medium-sized buses and coaches, an increase of 36.85% over the previous year, and 7,821 units of light buses, an increase of 7.01% over the previous year.

In the first nine months of this year, the export volume of touring buses stood at 17,179 units, an increase of 37.6 percent over the previous year, that of city buses at 12,732 units, an increase of 59.69 percent over the previous year, and that of school buses and buses for other uses at 248 units and 681 units, an increase of 123.00 percent and 230.58 percent respectively over the year.

While in long and medium vehicles the market leader is Yutong, in short buses the gold medal goes to King Long.
