TSA – Traktionssysteme Austria has officially opened a new apprenticeship training center at its Wiener Neudorf site, investing around €250,000 in the training of future skilled workers. TSA CEO Harold Schmidt highlighted the strategic importance of apprenticeship training for the company: «Our apprentices are a fundamental part of TSA’s future. With the new training center, we are creating a modern environment where they can gain practical experience and develop into highly qualified specialists»

By increasing its apprenticeship capacity to six positions per year – with the goal of reaching eight by 2030 – TSA aims to meet the growing demands of an increasingly technology-driven production environment while supporting and developing the workforce of the future today.

The new training area, covering approximately 70 m², will be integrated directly into the production environment. Danijel Cvijanović, Head of Production & Logistics, emphasized the advantages of this approach: «These investments reflect our long-term planning. By integrating training directly into production, we create strong synergies: apprentices learn in a real production environment, while trainers and production teams can collaborate even more closely».
