Italian zero emission bus manufacturer Rampini’s division H2EUPower announces the launch of a series of hydrogen fuel cell power system solutions in the power range from 30 to 140 kilowatts for commercial vehicles, off-highway and stationary applications for Europe.

H2EUPower, although part of Rampini group, operates “independently from the parent company in terms of both technical and commercial aspects of its business”, reads the press release announcing the new development.

H2EUPower: a new player offering fuel cell systems for CVs

Originally a hydrogen mobility focused engineering team within Rampini (that has on offer the only 8-meter fuel cell bus in the European market), H2EUPower was formally established as an independently operated division of the company in early 2024 “with the goal of extending access to design, performance and supply chain benefits to the OEMs across the entire European hydrogen ecosystem”, the company states. And adds: “Over the following few months, the division was further bolstered with some of the top fuel cell power systems’ technical and commercial experts, thus bringing together an unprecedented experience of over 25 fuel cell power system OEM design wins across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific”. The division is headed by Luigi Fusi.

H2EUPower has on offer a line up of solutions in the power range from 30 to 140 kilowatts for applications ranging from midi-buses to medium & heavy-duty vehicles as well as off-highway and stationary versions assembled as modular solutions that are tailor-made for the respective applications.

“Over the last few months, H2EUPower has done an incredible job in putting all the experience we have had with OEMs around the world, and producing what I believe is truly the best of breed solution for our European customers”, says Luigi Fusi. “We are just getting started full scale now! We have a number of very exciting technological and sales options we are looking forward to sharing with the market in the upcoming weeks and months.”
